STAR Investment Services begins with a disciplined discovery process to ascertain the right type of investments for you. We will guide you through the potential outcomes of a variety of traditional options, such as equity and fixed income investments as well as less traditional choices including commodities, private equity funds, real estate, and others to help you align your risk tolerance with your desired investment performance. A Financial Advisor then supports you in crafting and monitoring your portfolio, offering recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Janna has over 10 years’ experience in financial services, with experience in banking as well as in investment services. She loves getting to know her clients and is skilled at matching them with solutions that will help them meet their unique financial goals.
Janna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish International Trade from Auburn University. She completed her Master of Business Administration from Indiana University Fort Wayne in 2015, when she became a licensed banker at STAR Bank.
Outside of the office, Janna serves as the Vice Chairman of the board for the Whitley County Family YMCA.
A southerner by birth, Janna moved to Columbia City in 2012. She and her husband have two young boys and two dogs. You can often find Janna on the treadmill or enjoying the beautiful Indiana scenery outside when the weather cooperates enough to run on the road.

 Amy Gray

Amy Gray has over 30 years of financial services experience. She joined the STAR Investment Services team in 2012 and is responsible for assisting clients in Central Indiana with their financial investment needs.
Outside of the office, Amy serves on the Tipton County Chamber of Commerce board, is a member of the Tipton Rotary Club and volunteers with many other non-profit organizations.
Amy and her husband reside in Tipton.

Jonathan Jacoby joined the STAR Investment Services team in 2010. He is responsible for assisting clients in central Indiana in assessing and meeting their financial investment goals.
He has leant his experience to several area community organizations and actively spends time outside of the office volunteering for various community service activities.
He earned the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Life Underwriter. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.

David Mahlan joined STAR in 2010 and has over eight years of financial services experience. He is responsible for assisting clients in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area in assessing and helping them meet their financial investment goals.
Outside of the office, David volunteers his time to various activities for the Woodburn Lions Club and Monroeville Chamber of Commerce.
He is a graduate of Carroll High School and earned his Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting from Indiana University. David lives in Fort Wayne with his wife Tiffany and son Griffin.

Chelsea joined STAR in 2010 and has been with STAR Investment Services since 2015. Chelsea is focused on delivering exceptional customer service to clients and financial advisors. She works on marketing campaigns, projects and compliance support for the financial advisors.
Chelsea has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and has her Indiana Life and Health Insurance Licenses. She lives in Columbia City with her husband and three children.

Lynda is a Registered Sales Assistant with over 25 years of experience. She joined STAR Investment Services in 2004, after working at Charles Schwab and Lincoln Financial. Her primary objective is to provide excellent customer service to clients and support the advisors. She holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, as well as Indiana Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

With a background serving in the Army National Guard in Iraq for two consecutive tours of duty, Alec's dedication to his hometown of Fort Wayne is unwavering. He is passionate about fostering growth and prosperity within the community, leaving no one behind. Alec firmly believes that a rising tide lifts all ships, but everyone needs a boat, which emphasizes the importance of providing everyone with the means to navigate life's financial challenges. Holding Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, as well as Indiana and Ohio Life and Health Insurance registrations, Alec is well-equipped to guide individuals towards financial success.
