Erika Dornseif, CTFA
Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer


Erika Dornseif is a Trust Officer with STAR Wealth Management. In this capacity, Erika is the primary client contact for trust accounts in northern Indiana, as well as being responsible for handling estate administration and fiduciary reporting. Erika joined STAR in 2001 after five years with a national financial services firm with offices in Fort Wayne.

Erika carries multiple NASD licenses as well as the Indiana Health Insurance license. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Erika lives in Fort Wayne with her husband and daughters.

Keith Davis
President, STAR Wealth Management


Keith directs and leads the trust officers and financial advisors of the STAR Wealth Management team in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Marion, and Muncie. His 30 years in the industry gives him the background and vision to help STAR's customers find the best and most successful investment strategies. A graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, Keith earned his MBA from Taylor University, graduating with distinction.

Throughout his career, Keith helped high net worth clients with trust, estate planning, investment management, and retirement planning. In Fort Wayne, Keith is a Director at the University of St. Francis. He also serves on the Northeast Indiana Regional Workforce Board and on the board of directors for the Fort Wayne Civic Theater. Keith lives in Fort Wayne with his wife and two children.

Marjorie Kurtz
Vice President, Senior Trust Officer


Marjorie Kurtz has more than 33 years of trust experience. In addition to managing various trust accounts for clients in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area, Marjorie also ensures STAR Private Advisory's adherence to compliance regulations. Additionally, she prepares and manages STAR's reporting for fiduciary businesses.

After graduating from Elkhart High School, Marjorie earned a bachelor's degree from Bethel College in Mishawaka and completed the three-year Cannon Financial Institution program through the Cannon Trust School.

Outside of the office, she is a member of the Estate Planning Council. A resident of Fort Wayne, she has one son and four grandsons.

Steve Doan, CFP, CFA
Senior Vice President, Senior Investment Officer


With 25 years at STAR, Steve brings a wealth of experience and long-term vision to STAR Wealth Management customers. His designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)-a three year program described as the "gold standard" in investment analysis by Economist magazine-reflects both his devotion to his customers and the depth of his knowledge. He also serves as STAR Financial Bank's Treasurer.

He received both his B.S. in finance and MBA from Ball State University. He is a member of the CFA Institute.

Outside of the office, Steve enjoys baseball, snow skiing, fishing, and anything that involves his family. A committed member of the community, Steve serves as a board member and treasurer for the Northeast Indiana District Church of the Nazarene and the Metro YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. Steve also serves on the Arts United Investment Committee and coaches youth sports.

Thomas J. Cassidy, CTFA
Senior Vice President, Trust Officer


A native of Marion, Indiana, and 40-year veteran of STAR, Tom is the senior trust officer serving the Southern region. His designation as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor by the Institute of Certified Bankers demonstrates his knowledge in trust, personal financial planning, tax law, and investment management. The advice and insight he gives to his customers also draws on a wealth of financial services experience from his senior management roles in the STAR Financial Group.

Tom earned his bachelor's degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and his graduate degree from Ball State University in Muncie. He completed professional coursework in the ABA Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, and at the Cannon Trust Schools at Boston University (Boston, Massachusetts) and in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the community, Tom volunteers on the boards of both the Madison County Community Foundation and St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, and also serves as an elder at his church. He finds more success at fishing, canoeing and bicycling than he does at golf, but he loves all of them equally. Tom and his wife Angela live in Elwood.
