Kate joined STAR in 2014 after four years with a public accounting firm in audit services and one year with a hedge fund administrator in regulatory reporting. She received both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters in Science of Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
Kate serves as a director on the development committee at the University of St. Francis, in addition to serving on the board of directors for the YWCA of Northeast Indiana, Erin's House for Grieving Children and for Kate’s Kart. She is also a winner of the Fort Wayne Business Weekly's Forty Under 40 award.
Erika Dornseif is a Trust Officer with STAR Wealth Management. In this capacity, she is the primary client contact for trust accounts in northern Indiana, and is responsible for handling estate administration and fiduciary reporting. Erika joined STAR in 2001 after five years with a national financial services firm with offices in Fort Wayne.
Erika graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She serves on the board of the Jorgenson YMCA in Fort Wayne.
Matt is responsible for STAR Wealth Management’s investment strategy and provides portfolio management for his clients. He has over 10 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager in Central Indiana and specializes in institutional and non-profit relationships. In his career, he has been responsible for over $1 Billion in assets.
He holds a B.A from Ball State University where he graduated cum laude from the Honors College, along with an MBA from Western Governors University. Matt is a CFA charterholder and Vice President of CFA Society Indianapolis.
Matt is a Lilly Endowment scholar and 2017 honoree of The Star Press and M Magazine’s “20 Under 40.” He serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. He also serves on the Lilly Endowment selection committee for the Legacy Fund in Hamilton County. Matt also makes time to volunteer with the Wheeler Mission and Indiana Sports Corporation.
Matt Lewis provides professional fiduciary services with an emphasis on the duties of a trustee and personal representative in the settlement of estates. As a practicing attorney for almost 20 years, Matt has gained insight and experience in the management of personal, family, and business issues. He holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H McKinney School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and of CICF’s Professional Advisors Leadership Council.
Rachael Rice is a Trust Officer with STAR Wealth Management. Rachael joined STAR in 2022 after seven years of experience working for a community bank in Michigan where she managed a trust department. She will be assisting clients with their trust, estate and fiduciary needs.
She currently serves on the Michigan and American Bankers Associations in addition to volunteering with the St. Joseph County (Michigan) Chamber of Commerce.
Keith directs and leads the trust officers and financial advisors of the STAR Wealth Management team in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Marion, and Muncie. His 40 years in the industry gives him the background and vision to help STAR's customers find the best and most successful investment strategies. A graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, Keith earned his MBA from Taylor University, graduating with distinction.
Keith helps high net worth clients with trust, estate planning, investment management, and retirement planning. He also serves on the Northeast Indiana Regional Workforce Board and on the board of directors for the Catholic Community Foundation.
Alison is a Trust Administrator who works with a wide variety of fiduciary clients and assists in the compliance and reporting functions of STAR Wealth Management. Alison began her career in the financial industry with STAR in 2014. She joined the Wealth team in 2016.
Alison earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Ball State University and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. She currently holds the professional designation of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA). Alison is an animal lover and has volunteered with the Madison County Humane Society.
Terri is responsible for the daily operational functions for the department and trust clients. She is a Certified Securities Operations Professional and oversees the organization of the Operations area of STAR Wealth Management.
She joined STAR Wealth Management in July of 2003. Prior to joining STAR Wealth, she was a Securities Trader for Wells Fargo Trust & Investment. She also spent several years at Fort Wayne National Bank, serving as a Securities Trader and an Investment Associate.
A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Terri graduated from South Side High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from Ivy Tech College, Fort Wayne. Terri is currently a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers.
