Indiana Oxygen is a family-owned company that provides specialty gases and welding equipment to a variety of customers in Indiana and the surrounding area. At over 100 years old, they have grown to 13 locations, 11 of which are in Indiana, with about 200 employees.
“We provide, welding gases to the construction and the automotive industries. we provide food gases such as nitrogen or CO2 to distilleries or restaurants. Really, a wide variety of industries,” said Ann Brant Hayes, a fourth-generation family member and Vice President/Corporate Counsel. “Generally, wherever metal touches metal and is welded together, we're involved.”

Derek is a Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker for STAR and works out of the Indianapolis Monument Circle location. He has been a commercial banker in Central Indiana for over 20 years, having been in banking for 22. Derek is responsible for originating and managing loan and deposit relationships for middle market companies in Central Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wabash College and his MBA from Anderson University.
