Greenlight is a debit card and money app designed to help families teach kids and teens how to earn, save, spend wisely, and build financial confidence.

Greenlight supports families with children and teens of all ages. The primary account holder must be at least 18 years old. For existing STAR customers, it is already available to you in your mobile app for eligible checking accounts.

Eligible Greenlight plans support up to five children.

Parents can set spending controls, receive transaction notifications, and manage cards directly within the app.

Yes, eligible users can add their Greenlight card to supported digital wallets after activation.

STAR customers receive Greenlight SELECT at no additional cost when they maintain STAR as their funding source.

Greenlight SELECT is available to STAR customers who maintain an eligible Basic Checking, Interest Checking, or Premium Checking account. Existing customers may need to upgrade their current account or open an eligible checking account to qualify.
Greenlight is a mobile-only experience. Enrollment must be completed through the STAR Mobile Banking app, and ongoing account management is handled through the Greenlight mobile app. Greenlight is not available through desktop online banking.






































The Greenlight card is issued by Community Federal Savings Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to license by Mastercard International.

*STAR customers are eligible for the Greenlight SELECT plan at no cost when they connect their STAR account as the Greenlight funding source for the entirety of the promotion. Greenlight SELECT is available to STAR customers who maintain an eligible Basic Checking, Interest Checking, or Premium Checking account. Existing customers may need to upgrade their current account or open an eligible checking account to qualify. Subject to minimum balance requirements and identity verification.
